- My name is Shannon,wife to Ryan, mother to Jeremy, Gabriella (Gabi), and Preston, and step-mom to Christopher and Anthony. My daughter, Gabi, was born with Trisomy 21 (also known as Down syndrome) and Tetralogy of Fallot (a heart defect). Gabi had open heart surgery February 2, 2000 to correct this defect. Our site was created to keep friends and family up to date, and to provide a resource for those parents faced with a new diagnosis. Feel free to drop me a note with questions, concerns, or comments. Hi!
I came across your blog today. Gabi is adorable. I hope she's doing well and the melatonin is working for her ticks. I have a 2 year old daughter, Cassidy, who was born with Tetralogy of Fallot w/ PA & MAPCA’s as well as DiGeorge Syndrome.
I think blogs are a great way to get the word about about CHD’s and I commend you for what you’re doing.
My wife and I are also on a mission to spread the word about CHD’s. We just started a jewelry company called Lucky 10. All of our products are handmade and pertain to Heart Defects and the Heart Community in general.
